So I somewhat jumped the gun in my excitement, no the D30 is not an expansion card for the Xbox Series devices, it’s a simple USB 3.0 WD/Xbox branded drive, its a fast drive and is great for those Series games you can play on an external drive (like Ark and the Master chief collection) see the video below for more info
Anyway in regards to now deleted post and tweet that went with it, no, not an expansion card, but one is on the way from WD .. .maybe wait for the pros to post about it - 🙃
