Xbox had been really quiet on the Games with Gold front to the point I had honestly forgot all about it, according the the Xbox wire post which announces these things, it was left quite late and for a change when it comes with Games with Gold.. totally worth it!
Aven Colony
Available on June 1st until June 30th Aven Colony if I recall correctly was on Xbox GamePass quite early on when it launched and was a ton of fun if you happen to be into this kind of game
Discover Aven Prime - an alien planet of deserts, tundras, and jungles light years from earth. Aven Colony puts you in charge of humanity's first extrasolar settlement, where you build and expand your small colonies into massive, sprawling cities while dealing with the challenges faced when settling on a new world.
Dive in to an extensive dedicated single-player campaign, where you’ll need to brave Aven Prime’s harsh environments with freezing winters, lightning storms, ice storms, and toxic gas clouds. Prepare for attacks from the local lifeforms, including giant acid-spewing sandworms, “creep spores” that infect your buildings, and “plague spores” that infiltrate your colony and infect your colonists with a deadly plague. You must protect your colony from everything the planet has to throw at them, and shape the future of the survival of the human race.
All the single player content can also be explored in sandbox mode which allows players to tailor a full suite of options to customise the game experience including editing the starting resources, environmental events, minerals, and much more!
Super Meat Boy
Available June 1st until June 15th this one has been around the free offerings a few times but it's well known for being a frustrating and fun game to play, not sure my nerves/anger levels will take me into the world of Super Meat Boy but it's always been reviewed very well
This is the original 360 game not the latest meat boy forever
Project Highrise: Architect’s Edition
This might not be for everyone and be lead to a bit of head tilting given Avon Colony within a similar realm but it's a ton of fun despite being a little graphically limited and it's also available on June 16 until July 15
and if LGR loves it, you will to
Raskulls
Available June 16th until the 30th this is the game I knew the least about so after doing a little research since it's a game published by Xbox Game Studios or whatever it was called at the time but put together (developed by) Halfbrick Studios ... the people that made Fruit Ninja (1/2) and Jetpack Joyride along with numerous other popular games - this one is not listed on the Halfbrick website under the list of Games we made but seems it was well received.
The art style is interesting and it looks to be a racing, platforming puzzler of some sorts... worth a go anyway
In the event you are asking "what gives where the video?" they haven't released one yet it seems, I've updated all the other lists already tho.
