It would appear all is going well over at EA as they have posted some solid numbers for Q4 of the fiscal calendar - all these words are above my pay-grade all I really comprehend here is that EA is making money and companies that make money are doing well
VentureBeat points to Apex Legends and FIFA as part of the reasons they are posting such good numbers.. although further down they do also note the %6 layoff of staff - I didn’t like the idea of putting a percentage on people so a quick Google and I found an article by Polygon that suggests that %6 is around 700 people.

So while its nice to pat ourselves on the backs as gamers for giving EA our money so they can post tidy profits, lets not forget that they also laid off a ton of people, it should also be noted that the world cup was not all that long ago which might explain better than average FIFA numbers but can EA maintain those numbers when they lose FIFA’s shockingly expensive licensing rights.
