A new update for Xbox is starting to drop and with new updates comes new features so let’s take a look at what we get! This might be a little out of order as I have one console on the latest releases and another on the betas, they have proper release channels name like Delta n such I just cannot remember who’s on what so if I mention a feature like its old… it is.. to me at least.
View Xbox gamertags of your Discord friends
So you can already link your discord to your Xbox and use discord voice channels to get talking while in games, a great feature for those playing with friends that want to communicate .. a million times better.. the new bit of this feature is you can now see which Discord friend has which gamertag
New sort and filter options in the Microsoft Store on Xbox.com
title tells you exactly what it does, handy if like me you are deal hunting, but most console players have probably never seen this screen
Xbox Wireless Controller firmware update
This is a bug fix for those that have controllers with build in batteries, seems the batteries were draining slow - I assume this means an unintentional drain. Additionally for those with normal controllers it fixes an issue where games would disconnect when using headphones with 4k, 120hz and VRR (I assume this is one of options or a combination of them
Xbox Game Pass Quests are now easier to find on the new Rewards tab
Makes sense still not sure what the benefit is I tend to earn a lot of these by accident but seems its easier to earn, claim and spend points and I’m all for easier so yay
