I have been working on this site now for almost a year and sadly a trend with myself finally kicked in about a month ago, I had this idea of spinning the site into a gaming specific site with my other interests being secondary and I was and I still am quite interested in exploring that idea but I received a suggestion that said why not do X.

Now just in the event X never comes to be, I will not be saying what X is but it’s a cool idea… such a cool idea that my brain kicked into overdrive thinking about how to get it into place but also about the recent tripe posting - please for those that post please continue to do so, but I know myself recently I have just been posting a trailer and deal with no context then moving onto the next one and doing this about 20 times a day - it does add a ton of tiny content to the site but does not really bring any info, context or at least in my opinion ‘valuable content’
Sadly the least important part of that little paragraph stuck in my head and I told myself it was time for a new platform to allow for better editing/publishing of such - thinking about it now I’m left asking the obvious question:
I love Markdown, I like the idea of people also being able to post what they like and what they find interesting so why downgrade to a single user posting solution with others commenting on what interests me and how would I have handled off-topic stuff ? Probably by installing forums - then pushing the latest article posts into first post in a forum news section and then shifting comments to a forum response and before you know it I have what I am currently working with right now but vastly downgraded..
Sadly during my exploration process I blew a ton of time on testing software and just ignoring the current site exist.. anyway that stops today!
OAuth Returns & Blog changes
So starting today I have pulled my head out of my arse and starting putting things back together on the site - firstly Oauth is back, seems I annoyed. few the used that feature so it is back and I have only tested Twitter and Google and those seem to be functional but I am considering adding Twitch & Apple - let me know if either of those re of interest to anyone.
I also swapped out the blog tag into a full blog category, for now it’s currently only being used for site updates but I may expand on this idea a little further in the future possibly covering most of what’s in the gaming tag - and of course doing a better job with posting them - idea X does fall under this too
Anyway thats it for now, I will try do better and not let the doubt demons get at me, thanks to all for patience and understanding and of course happy posting!
