UPlay Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag and World in Conflict

Ubisoft's own digital games platform Uplay will be offering Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag and World in Conflict for free via the UPlay store, You can grab World in Conflict right now and as of December 18th as the Ubisoft blog put it in honour of the 10th anniversary of the original Assassins Creed release you'll be able to grab Assasin's Creed IV Black Flag for free.

The offering which was announced on the official Ubisoft blog does require a UPlay account which for some could be a big stopping issue, but you do keep the games and can play them as much as you wish for as long as you wish - in basic terms you own the games. World in Conflict is an RTA game and offers an interesting story with flipped gameplay where the Soviet Union did end up invading the United States in the 1980s aside from the main game you also get Soviet Assult an expansion for the original game as part of the free offering.

In terms of Black Flag it's one of the better reviewed Assasins Creed gamers offering a good story and an alternative to what had become the norm in the game already and as such is a very good offering from Ubisoft more so when you consider the grand price of zero, just don't tell PETA you are a fan of the game ... specifically the whaling section

So what do you think of this Freebie? is having a UPlay account a stopping block for you ? are you a fan or player of either of these games already?... this and more you can let us know in the comments
