PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds hits 3 Million on Xbox

It's rare that a game manages to capture so many people for a long amount of time, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds managed to grasp hold off and for the most part still has a consistent player base of 20+ million players on the PC version of the game. However, the game was recently ported to the console (Xbox specifically) and now has 3 million players on that platform also.

It's a remarkable number no matter which way you look at it, given that it started out life as a bunch of mods to other games and slowly yet systematically turned into a game that millions around the world play each and every day and according to the origin of this article over at Xbox Wire PUBG corp the developers of the game won't be putting pushing down that mentality soon as the game continues to provide patches, updates and recently a new map

The team at PUBG Corp. is determined to continue to improve the in-game experience for PUBG’s growing and active community and have already released four updates since the game’s launch in Xbox Game Preview on December 12. You’ll continue to see regular updates roll out for PUBG on Xbox One such as this week’s addition of first-person support for solo, duo, and squads gameplay and the team is just getting started, with more updates planned that include additional game optimization and the new Miramar map – keep up-to-date by visiting PUBG Corp’s official forums.
